The squirrel is a rodent from the family of squirrels. Its circulation area covers almost the whole of Europe and also North Asia from the Urals eastward to Kamchatka, Korea and Hokkaido.
It has a weight of about 200 to 400 grams. Its body length lies between 20 to 25 cm. The bushy tail is 15 to 20 cm long.
